Re: Any RSP employee installing free phone lines?

I have friends who are dealers in both DNet and DTV.
If you are the contract holder (OR a corporate employee which includes Mastech and the like), you are obligated to install needed phone lines provided the CX has a hard line available, but farther away than the distance of the IRD supplied RJ12 cable (some are 12', some are 20'). The dealer/company (supposedly) supplies the parts and just screws you out of your time and knowledge.

As an independent, I make my dealers aware up front that is NOT the case with me...I will firstly try to sell it to the CX, and should they know to press the issue they must get an authorisation from the dealer to pay me (at MY rates), or I will be happy to let the job get re-scheduled to whenever a 'corporate' tech can be sent.

It's worked that way for me for 15 years.(wink)
