Longtime cable contractor in Michigan just remembering the good old days. There was so much contract work: buries, routes all over, mdus and the like. Comcast is down to the 2 major contractors now and you have to become their employee to work. Guys are now getting $8 per hour to to prewires. Have been thinking of going in house but I have a hard time working for clueless people. I have worked in florida the last couple of winters and it reminds me of how it used to be here in Michigan. Cable and dish jobs are everywhere all the crapy pick up trucks and mini vans running around with ladders (lol)
