Maybe someday everyone will figure out that running after storm work is not and has not been profitable since Katrina. Companies are only paying out 30 to 40% instead of 60 to 70%, Primes always seem to have a friend to step in and take an additional percentage off the top, no one is held accountable anymore, installers seem to think they are line techs and splicers seem to think they can sweep.
This Industry badly needs a UNION and this is a possibility, however, there is no respect or loyalty anymore. Used to be we all had each other and now everyone is out for themselves.
I hate this business and after 34 years I QUIT.
If there were not so many scumbags in this industry a UNION could be formed to protect the contractor from bad Primes, bad pay, and all the bullsh*& out there but most of you get on the BAR time after time and bitch and complain.
DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT or SHUT THE F*%K UP.
