FYI...Exxon paid $11 Billion out of the $14 Billion in corporate income taxes. The last time two times corp income taxes rates where increased was in the 70's and as a result interest rates increased to over 21% and gas prices shot to over $5.00 (in today's money that would be close to $8.00) and the time prior to that the end result was the Great Depression.
