Re: underground cables at pole

Our policy was to leave enough to go to the tap... If we didn't or couldn't run it up there ourselves. It all depended on the experience of the guy doing the bury... some had the knowledge and capabilities, some didn't... it wasn't part of there normal job duties so I never got to upset if it didn't get run up the pole, as long as there was enough to get there.
