Work is hell. It is my hope that my wife will never have to do it unless she wants to. I would take two jobs before submitting to a situation that required her to get a job to keep up the expenses.
Besides, my wife has the most important job in the entire world. She is a mother. Childless career girls will have that emptiness their whole lives. Without a woman performing the all-important job of mother, none of us would be here. I put my wife up on a pedestal for the job she does. There is no job more important and us men must realize that as well. Think about what would happen if is men didn't do our jobs. If I didn't do mine, some schlub wouldn't be watching TV right now. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. If my wife didn't do her job, four kids would grow up without the emotional stability a mother provides and their whole lives would be screwed up forever. So, yeah, she has the most important job.
Yeah, women on the jobsite can feel good about what they do.
