on another note

On another completely different note it is odd. For those of you who do not know there is a big major job happening up in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. They say they need alot of technolgy folks like you and me. Well I applied I have years of skills within the communications industry. My technical abilities always attained me the position of project manager. So to cut a long story short. I applied up there, they ranted they needed skilled folks like me. So two weeks have gone by, no call. Why because I would not work for $14 an hour, thats why. All has been made about the high paying jobs, rubbish. The ironic thing is that they are building industry for refining oil, etc up there and they got rookies performing critical communications install work. Alot of rubbish companies up there. Some that would not last if it were not for the isolated nature of the work involved. But man what a joke it is. Those companies are making a comedy out of our industry.
