Buried guys have it rough sometime

A crew from Hinkle mcCoy went on a cut cable call,it was in the middle of open area ,disturbed dirt.They dug it up somebody had buried a cow that had been dead for a week. I can understand Hinkles guys digging it up but I don't see telco guy crawling in the splice pit to splice it.
