Buy gold... 8 yrs ago would have paid off tremendously in today's market so... to those that bought and managed to hold on to it well, you did good.
As far as hoarding the bread, to each his own. Being prepared for the worst is not a sign of but, smart thinking.
Hears a thought... with so many companies being bought out and considering the US Government is a business wouldn't it be scary if WE got bought out.
Tighten those belts and cut the fat.
