I got a fancy harness that has rings in the front, rear, and at each hip, that way I can hook on where ever is least obstructive for whatever I happen to be doing at the time. Some say its not technically compliant to hook on the side but I say screw em, its my call.
I think I got this one from either Grainger supply or Hall's safety equipment. Seems like I paid around $50 or 60 bucks/pesos/euros, whatever.
It is a little bit heavier that one with just one D ring but is also "balanced" out in a way and seems more comfortable to me. Also, since I have easier access to the lanyard snap using the front or side ring I always leave the lanyard in the bucket instead of draggin it around with me all the time.
