the lashing part is one thing but the issue that has me concerned are the clamps holding it up at the pole. Most of this figure 8 cable has the small single bolt clamp (not your standard bitch clamp). I wouldnt trust these clamps for anything much less some 200lbs grunt trying to pull a lasher jerking the **** out of the spans.
When i use to do figure 8 we would sag in the spans as we installed it. So if you start trying to change out the clamps you got to deal with the different tensions in the sags in every span. Yes it can be done but its additional work.
But i get paid hourly so whatever they want me to do.
