Re: Bailout!!!

Another note on fdr's new deal. As far as I can tell it was to give people work who didnt have any, not just a hand out like they do today. It was not to give companies a bunch of money for making bad business decisions. You need money, want work, we have it. It was a good plan IMHO to invest in dams and such. He had to see that it would turn a profit. In this case I see it as buying a bunch of fools gold. It might work out though and they might retrieve a profit. Hope so because a deal is going to go through whether we like it or not. The rich have to keep their money and the powers that be will make sure of this. The deregulation has cause oil prices to soar and our economy to take a nose dive. I wonder what they will call this...... GW Bush's "BAD DEAL". Good Luck to you all.
