I think that a better way of taking care of the PEOPLE in this ONCE great Nation of ours would be to regulate the businesses in a fair market/practice standard.......small shops (in general) tend to pay employees (comparatively) a fair wage- as best as they can.
Yet the big guys find any ways they can to put as much $ in their pockets as possible!
the larger the company= the more they should pay their guys= it would create good fair market trade and on an even playing field continue to compete for great employees and would build up the long forgotten "reputation "of that company.
