Using a SA Mux In A Motorola Headend

I am NAS controlled using a SEMV8 for QAM transport. I am receiving Lifetime Real Women/Lifetime Movie HD muxed into a SA9828.
I am passing this along into my semv8 via ASI.
Everything seemed to be doing well until I noticed our Motorola 2000 DCT's were not displaying the video of the LRW (SD).
I have noticed the DCT is receiving 2 video pids. Type 0020 and 0080.
Motorola informs me this particular model DCT can not distinguish between the pids and shows a blank screen. Just as if it were a HD signal on a SD box.
So after Lifetime,HITS, and Motorola telling me nothing can be done I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem before?
If so .. What did you do to correct it?
I do not have a cherry picker, that was suggested to drop the other video pid prior to introducing signal to SEM.
I will be switching to 2 SA9850 and seperate signals and mux again.
I would think that would work but what a waste of resources.
