Well ... I have to disagree with you on that one Nate... If you sign a contract with them agreeing to use their pricing schedule, and abiding by their installation standards, then they damn well can, tell you what to charge.
And any one that holds or has held a prime contract will agree.
There are times when they may ask you to quote specific out of the ordinary jobs... thats when you can use your "contractor" rights to adjust your pay accordingly.
