Only the member who posted the message (in this case, kount) may delete his own message. There was a response by kount to the message I also responded to so I didn't feel the need to add that he was the author, but he subsequently deleted that also. Sorry if I confused anyone.
Premier members have the ability to move/delete a message only when it is a reply to their own post. The open nature of this forum has led to some problems (to put it mildly) in the past. Thread management by the poster was one way we tried to manage it. Now that we have 24/7 moderating and proactively remove abusers it is almost never used.
