I would suggest HIGHLY if you are worth your beens then get ahold of some of the guys were you are and get in good with them!
You can find them here on this site.
I would consider you LUCKY to be in a town that there is sooooo much cable/construction related work going on!

If I had the money to get there I would be by now.
