I know my work, my customers know when I leave it works as advertised (equipment permitting), and I don't have some in-house hack costing me money for his own lack of knowledge. I also don't have some bean-counter telling me I'm a hack because I take the time and materials to do the job right the first time instead of slam-and-run. I may be slow, but my people call me back...even years later!
