We did it in Balt for a company called One point communications. We would build a small head end w/ a echo star dish. After the reciever came a processor to put it on a particular channel and then to a insertion amp. The only problem was if power went out for any reason all the receivers would reset to the same channel. That meant a morning spent changing all the channels in the headend. Lots of fun. Oh by the way it was legal then. I don't know about now.
