Anyone ever use a hot melt fiber kit

I've spliced a lot of fiber and today is the first time I ever saw a done. That is the way to go if you are doing a patch panel, no more pigtails, just heat up your connector, put it together on the fiber, let it cool for a few minutes and polish the end snap in the panel. you can do 5 or 6 in less than 10 minuets. I had my doubts a first but once I saw it I'm sold. It's so simple and a lot neater and faster than all the pigtails. Now if someone can come up with something like that you can use in a splice enclosure they could retire.
If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking.
