Yep, I figured you prolly knew what it was for by your handle but I'll bet there are a lot of green beans haulin peices of wood up a pole wonderin what the hell is this for.
went to california in 89 from the mid west when I was green and had never heard of guard arms. We were working in north hollywood - Van nuys area so I just kinda thought some hollywood type walked out the plant and couldnt understand why all the poles didn't look like the ones on the coyote and road runner show so we needed to add more wood to it. ( Back then in the midwest all the old linedogs called grunt pegs hollywoods because the only time you saw them was in the movies)
