That's capitalism. Sensationalism sells. They did it to Obama several times already with his ex pastor, his supposed (turned out to be completely wrong) childhood attendance at a madrassa, the whole "Bittergate" BS, and probably a few more I'm forgetting.
But guess what? That's how it SHOULD WORK. If you're asking to be President (or a heartbeat away) then you had better be able to stand up to a little scrutiny, and not act like a pussy when it happens.
People who act like victims, like it only happens to them, those are the ones I have to laugh at and ask what's wrong with them. What do you think would be going on if Obama had a 17 year old unwed daughter who was pregnant? The press would be off the charts.
