You must work strictly off a ladder, get yourself a good set of gaffs and learn how to use them. Then you will not have that problem. If they are only paying you 17 dollars and change to run a new drop your getting F#$%ed big time. As far as tree trimming that's up to the MSO unless it's in your contract or on your price sheet.
