It's Called Marshall Law..when I worked Katrina in Hammond,La. I had to keep my 9mm under the hood and my 12ga in my lay up stick tube... even thou I carried a CWP I was told that I was under federal jurisdiction and my CWP was temporary invalid until future notice... they gave you a receipt for your weapon's and said call this number after Marshall Law is de-activated and retrieve your weapon's.. then the question was when is that ??
