Why were my posts moved to linemans forum?

What was the issue so as I dont do it again. I wanted as many as possible exposed to this as I feel important message. I had selected off-topic. Can you clarify where I went wrong? Again thanks for the great site I look to update my account soon maybe today as to help you maintain it. Thanks.
