Cat3 ,4 or 5 , I ain't hanging around . I've been through too many hurricanes already . I recall looking out of the window as a young boy watching things blow across the yard like bullets. It took down a big pecan tree and an oak in our yard . I watched them go down , thinking I guess I wont get to climb in those trees anymore . When the eye came across we went out in the yard to check things out. At a very young age I learned when the eye crossed things weren't over . Thinking back now, I can't believe my parents allowed us to look out the window .I guess back in the 60's people just were not aware of the full magnitude of a storm , or else after going through Hazel other Hurricanes paled in comparison. I have a simple rule ,above a 2,I'm outta there .Riding the storm out was a good song , but not for the Duck , I'll come back and pick up the pieces if there is any left.
