If it has the company logo, the company wants it back. They are way more expensive than shirts/hats, and someone could get more use out of it. The slow economic times could be another factor in the employer's decision.
If they employee quit due to another employee, then he should be honorable and return all the items.
And to respond to all the other stupid answers, their recommendations are another thing that helps lower all your wages.... and you wonder why this industry has gone in the cr_pper.... .....duh....grow up.
