Home refinance for 1099

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with home refinancing and being a 1099. I am really starting to hate being a 1099, you make alot of money but cant get anything. My broker told me that I needed 2years of work history being 1099, and I only have 1. Is there any help anyone can think of
