HA HA HO HO HA HA.....but seriously HA HA HO HO HA HA.
On several occasions, back when they actually made most noob's do a ride along for awhile when first coming on board to a new company, I would find that 99.9 % of the persons they would call their "best tech" were complete and total hacks.
I've watched these so called self proclaimed "cable gods" double strip the coax with their home depot stripper because they just found it too hard to get the fitting over the outer vinyl jacket.
Or screw P hooks into phone poles to hang 11 250 ft to the trim on the eave of a home.
Or ground to a gas main, or simply just hide the end of the ground wire in the ground, or shove it in a hole someplace.
The Cable industry sucks period.
