Be very careful of what you say and check your source for accuracy for: A - This system is not primarily UG. B - Up until FY 2000 the system was a dual 450MHz operation. After the completion of the upgrade in 2004/5 their aerial bundles consisted upwards in the neighborhood of 12 sheaths of coax/fiber mix nearest their new STC locations. C - Some of the old coax /INet network was acquired possibly by the county. D - If you do acquire any of their w/o of aerial plant I most certainly trust that you and your crews are nothing short of stellar caliber! E - During their upgrade/I-Net deployment between 2000-2003 most if not all UG activity deployed spare conduit for future use on fiber/trunk and other runs. F: Unless forced to wreck-out their UG plant by FFC Government, why would anybody spend an exorbitant amount of capital to execute a project with zero revenue potential.
Just my opine, I could be wrong - but not this time!
Rick J. - what say you?
