Great line up ... The problem is, come '09 switch over day .... The only channels that are required by law for your MSO to carry in analog form are:
Chan2, 4, 5, 9, and ch12.
ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and PBS... (plus any others that are local terrestrial origination).
That line up you show is what most consider "Expanded Basic". There is no law on the book that says MSO's have to carry any other channels beyond the Feb 17th date other than "local terrestrial origination".
...and to clear up the marketing mess for some: CONGRESS MANDATED that MSO's carry those few analog channels until 2012. So when you hear your supervisor or manager say.. "The MSO has decided, in the best interest of our customer, to keep our analog signal turned on for 3 more years".... They are spinning the truth. Congress mandates it.
