Re: Charter Communications giving out false inform


For the Record... I don't do installs or service calls.. I never even go into the customers homes.. ( I'm a Construction Guy and I'm not 'house broke'..) But as fate has it, I work for Charter.. My neighbor came to me about the same story.. 'You have to get a digital box or your TV won't work'.. It was a sales rep, not a customer service rep.. And the sales rep does not work for Charter, but a firm contracted to do sales (like digital upgrades).. I reported it and the problem has been dealt with..
It's not always clear how something really happened to those getting second hand information... But I do know that there is rarely a day that I don't see a 'Charter commercial' saying our customers don't have to do anything come the 09 digital conversion.. Nuff Said.... (smokin)
