I found the best way to deal with old tv sets.. is to set them out in the back yard and BLAST Them .. take your aggression out on them.. that way you don't have to take it out on your old lady..
then scrape up the pile and put in the recycling bin.
It saves energy .. the trash company don't have to spend the money to grind it up.. and it stills end up in the same place
