Re: GPS Nav.

I've used a Garmin 530 for the past 3 years, can't drive with-out it. The only thing about GPS devices that is negative, is that they will set you in the middle of a cotton patch in MS. I have also been driving on a dirt road and all of a sudden crossed a cattle guard. I seen a man repairing a fence and he was laughing. He said this hasn't been a road since 1970, it was now his driveway and he pointed me out of there and to the customers house. You got to use your common sense still, or you will be turning off major roadways every 3 miles to save a foot of travel distance. Garmin likes you to update the maps every year for a $69 fee. I have yet to upgrade mine, I will soon, maybe next year. But I wouldn't suggest uploading new maps every time they come out.
