I guess Iv'e just been around too long ....Did you know that cable companies used to employ Linemen?? {inhouse} and they used flatbeds?...At least 1/2 this country's plant was built w/out bucket trucks....and yes we crossed rivers w/out High Rangers..Ohh nevermind I'm starting to sound like my Pop talking about stuff...The bottom line is that any old school guy would have too much Pride to call for a bucket truck...Even these days.
