If your wanting actual FM off the cable....they must be transmitting FM from the Headend for you to be able to receive FM.
If you have MTV, VH1, CMT...etc. plus any FM stations offered.....1) do you have a cable converter box (Digital or otherwise)? If yes, use a Audio patch cable from the converter to the stereo Aux / audio input. Put your stereo tuner into the Aux. mode and JAM!
If you do not have a converter but you do have a VCR with the cable ran into the VCR input....Use the Audio patch cable from the Audio output of the VCR to the AUX / Audio input of your stereo tuner, tune your Stereo to Aux. and JAM!
