A buck isn't nearly enough and neither is 6 but depends on the audit. some MSO's require each drop be tagged and recorded. This is ok if your in a city but in rural area's some taps have no drops and the MSO's will ALWAYS throw in extra things for you do part of the way through the audit and then threaten to back charge.
But if you feel comfortable that you can make money then go for it.
