Sorry, Debi, couldn't help myself! There are various MSO's that do allow shorts of a specific mfg., below the knee and a specific color and material! I'm assuming you're talking about "installers"! Linedawgs don't wear shorts or tees without sleeves! OSHA regulates that not to mention the guy that trys to avoid creosote slivers (if ya just "touch" a pole ya got 'em)! Of course contractors will do what they can get away with! Out here in the desert ya might think that would be the way to go, till you've knelt down on concrete or sat on it in 120 deg. heat! Not to mention the cactus landscaping, snakes, spidies and basically hot rocks! Your particular MSO will give ya the low down! I personally consider it "un-professional" but then i'm "old-school" so my opinion doesn't count! Later, Mike M.
