Re: OTJ shorts

What is unprofessional about wearing shorts? As long as they are presentable ( no holes, cut-offs..) they are much cooler than wearing denim or even khakis. I also have pants that have a zipper at the knees and convert from long pants to shorts, I would wear these if I ever went into the office (Cox, Comcast, etc) Once I was in the field and working I would zip off the legs to my pants, it felt like walking into an air conditioner. OSHA has no problem with us wearing shorts, our problem comes from people that work in air conditioned offices and pick-up trucks. I have attended too many safety meetings on the topic of heat stroke, this is one way for the body to cool off.
