I got into this business because I was tired of everybody stealing from me in the restaurant business. A diner sounds good because you can cover all the bases. Make it so only you and your wife has access to the food and money. I had seven fast food restaurants and most employees were thieves. If you have employees, Check the dumpster at closing because they will throw cases of meat and supplies when they take out the trash. Also if there are foot prints on the toilet seat there is someone in your ceiling waiting for you to close and leave. Good Luck!
