I had that happen to me awhile ago on an install its a software issue and sometimes when you force download which I have really tried to stay away from causes more problems. For instance I will throw the dish up throw the lines around plug in the reciver ground and tack everything. This will give the reciever time to download the software on its own. Otherwise I tell the costumer to wait no more than 3 days before calling directv but not before that to give the update time. There is absolutely nothing you can do on that I waited at someones house for 6 hours one time and still came back the next day. then it worked fine.
