Interesting Blue, The P-38 lighting was the plane my Dad serviced in WW II over in New Guinea, I have a picture of him with Major Bong and his P-38 after he got his 27th Jap kill which broke the record from WW I . He ended up with 39 I believe which made him the top Ace of WW II.
