Ok that is an unusual question and I am curious why you ask. At this time the current technology for HFC plant amplification has just reached 1ghz. I realize there are 3ghz taps that have the capability to pass 3ghz but the only 3ghz amplification on the market are for wireless and cellular.
To answer your question the sda5000 is only capable of 1ghz so in order to check any levels above that you would need a spectrum analyzer and there is no sweep gear on the market at this time that go’s over 1gh for the catv market.
