I don't think stupid is the word for it....how could anyone know this coffee would cause 3rd degree burns in seconds?? It isn't normal for coffee to be unfit for human consumption because of the heat. Even if she had held it with one hand and spilled it, it still could have spilled then what? Still would have burned causing skin grafts. So when people pull into a mickey d's or any other coffee outlet on their way to work are they suppose to pull over...get out...put the coffee on something and add their condiments because the vendor decided to serve coffee you couldn't drink anyway???
