Yes Brikman, The Ruger is Standup! You can place it next to the older model S&W's and it still Shines. The new S&W's suck. Ruger is a yery dependable firearm and very underrated IMHO. I was going to buy one yet found a .40 Beretta for the less dollars. I bought it from the local PD that was going to the newer Glocks....
