Hey there Toast... I see that you work for Charter Construction !
I think maybe you should go to your MSO for the specs.
I know that every Charter System, I have worked in gave me a 15 page spec book for construction & splicing, and they also had UG peds (amps,le's splitters,taps combinations) showing what they expect to prevent port blocking set up at the MSO'S Yard.
And some yards had aerial displays on how they expected it to be built. Your 1st Mistake is to allow in-house tech's to splice the new plant..
most new build plant looks 10 years old before the prime contractors workmanships warranty has expired.
that is why I do power.. to high for a 28ft ladder to F*%* my stuff up plus they know it will kill you!
