IF there is a stated specification for the FREE basic installation it could be made to work,
1. The DTV customer pays..........$2.00 per mile after the first thirty.
2. EVERYTHING not in the basic installation is time and materials COD.
3. SUPPORT is paid by the DTV customer........calls to the installer for other
than workmanship issues are as above.

ALL phone work is billed by the installer to the DTV customer.
THE original installer should be free to offer services directly to the DTV customer without reference to Home Service Providers.

DTV could fax jobs to installers in every zip in the country. AND they could UPS drop materials to every zip in the country. Companies with trucks could cover every zip in the country.

DTV got in over their head with the HSP model........an extra level of nonproductive management.......so when you are in a hole stop dogging.
