Re: Info on Construction side of Cable

Let me rephrase and re-emphasize...

Say you're not in cable - you're a carpenter. Do you honestly think reading a book about building a staircase or cabinets or even framing a house will teach you everything you need to do to do it? No!

No say you're in cable - do you think reading a book you're going to learn about how to mix mud if you're drilling, or how to look at a pole and find out which side you should be in so you're not boxing it in? Or how to set up your lasher or even where to put straps and spacers? Or how to splice a tap?

Get on the job training - just make sure you're being trained by someone who knows their **** - not a freakin' hack!
It was then that Caroline remembered her kitchen back in Montana, with a stove that she might or might not have turned off, and so with a heavy sigh, she put down the penguin.
