MagicJack has it's plus and minus.
On the Plus side: It's very portable. It works. Easy to use. Cost looks good on the product.
Minus: Not good for residential use because you have to leave your computer on 24/7 if you want it to work all the time. If you did leave your PC on 24/7, integrating it into your home wiring would not go all to well. No E911 will work with it. The company can change your phone number whenever it wants. There is no gaurentee to keeping the same phone number.
Overall ..... IMO ....... MagicJack looks great if you are on the road traveling most of the year, but i cannot see anyone using as thier primary phone service for a residential situation.
