sign on bonus
I keep seeing this in some job posts. $XXX sign on bonus, and then it goes on to say something like "paid after 90 days of service". Hey.........that's not a sign on bonus. It is a bonus to be paid for completing 90 days of service. A sign on bonus, is ............., you got it, paid WHEN you sign on, lol. I know it's not the end of the world, but come on. Call a spade, a spade. It just kind of reminds me of the car sales gimmicks and tactics that are used.
